Are you a qualitative researcher who wants to create positive impact with your research?

Do you work for a charity or NGO with limited budget for research?

The Insights for Impact Award is for qualitative research in support of a good cause.

You provide the research expertise and we’ll give you the tools and some budget to make it happen. You’ll also get the chance to showcase your work to a global audience of your peers.

What is the Insights for Impact Award?

Qualitative research has the power to change lives. It can humanise complex issues, give voice to the unheard and shine a light on hidden behaviours.

For charities and non-profit organisations, qualitative research is vital for understanding the people they support, making more informed decisions and gauging the impact of their work.

The Insights for Impact Award will help a charity or non-profit organisation to complete an online qualitative research project with free technology, project support and a financial contribution.

How does it work?

Any researcher can submit a video entry to conduct an online qualitative research project for a charity or non-profit organisation.

The winning entry will receive free software and support from Recollective1 and a budget contribution for recruitment and incentives.

After completing the project, you will be able to present it as a case study in a webinar hosted by Insight Platforms2.

The best five video entries will be selected by an expert panel and screened to attendees at the Qualitative Insights Summit on May 14th 2024.

The final winner will be chosen in an open vote by summit attendees and announced in the closing session on May 16th.

1 The qualitative research must be conducted online in markets / languages available in the Recollective platform; see details here.
