Module One:Overview of Methods & Tools
Available on-demand.
In this introductory session you’ll learn about the primary tools for online qualitative research and the benefits of specialised research platforms. Includes pre-tasking, one-to-one interviews, focus groups, digital ethnography, co-creation and idea testing.
Subsequent sessions will tackle the ‘how to’ for each method in greater depth.
Module Two:Homework and Digital Ethnography
Available On-Demand.
These methods often prepare participants for online discussions or capture contextual images and video about the research topic.
You’ll learn about the benefits of setting homework and ethnography pre-tasks; get practical tips for your own online qualitative research; and see case studies of projects completed by the Recollective team.
Module Three:Diary Studies and In-the-Moment Research

These methods help capture participants’ experiences over time (documenting use of cosmetics over a two-week period) or at a point in time (reporting on a test drive experience at an auto dealer).

Module Four:Co-creation

Covering the core building blocks of qualitative co-creation: generating foundational insights; collaborative and independent ideation; and filtering / building ideas in the evaluation stage.
